Nuri

Nuri is a half-elf adventurer and cleric serving the outlander deity Heironeous. Hailing originally from the City of Greyhawk on Oerth, Nuri was abandoned by her parents as a child and forced to work at a seedy tavern as a dancer before she was taken in by a priest of Heironeous and instructed in the church's religion. Her proclivity for raining righteous wrath down upon transgressing men motivated the church to put her on the road, adventuring with the paladin Dungannon Jeratte. In their adventuring career, Dungannon eventually fell from grace in his quest for vengeance against a fiend summoner that brought about the maiming and retirement of his former lover Leah. His transformation into a bitter, guilt-consumed person is something that has left Nuri truly saddened[1].
At some point, Nuri and her fellow adventurers entered the Demiplane of Dread, eventually coming to Villebois in Dementlieu. Mayor Charles de Tantoine may have tried to pin the blame on them for the murders he committed as a lycanthrope[2].
Relationships
Nuri still holds Durgannon as a true friend. She feels a bond of commonality with Gema as both have spent time on the streets in their youths. Nuri attempts to morally reform Gem, though Nuri correctly perceives that Gem's nature does not lend itself well toward any moral instruction. Dungannon and Draloef Stonegrinder's blunt approaches to morality prove a hindrance to Nuri's more nuanced approach in reforming Nuri. Ironically, Nuri's own lectures significantly put off Derek Ravenclaw, whom Nuri wishes to release Gem from a charm spell. Hespero the Harmonious is also a frequent lecture target, though Nuri believes it is probably hopeless to get him to relinquish his erratic and flirtatious behaviors[3].
After Durgannon received Leah's help in liberating her from her oppressive husband, Nuri has supported Leah's rescue as a chance for Durgannon's redemption.[1].
