Draloef Stonegrinder

This section contains canon info from officially published sources |
Hailing originally from a village of his fellow dwarves in Nyrond on the outlander world of Oerth, Draloef Stonegrinder is a fighter who joined a party of mostly human adventurers at the behest of his village chief. Following the village chief's request, Draloef hoped to lend his dwarven wisdom to the party and act as a moral example for them to follow.[1].
At some point, Derek and his fellow adventurers entered the Demiplane of Dread, eventually coming to Villebois in Dementlieu. Mayor Charles de Tantoine may have tried to pin the blame on him for the murders he committed as a lycanthrope[2].
Relationships
Draloef disapproves of romantic relationships among fellow adventurers, and thus he disapproved of his best friend Dungannon Jeratte falling in love with their fellow colleague Leah, as he believed the world of adventurer and battle precluded romantic relationships. Despite Draloef's protestations, Leah and Dungannon began a romantic relationship. Leah was later maimed by a conjured fiend, and Durgannon's quest for vengeance ended in his fall from grace as a paladin and transformation into a bitter shadow of his former self. Draloef thus feels a deep and abiding sense of guilt over the matter, but sees rescuing Leah from an abusive husband as a possible way for them all to atone for their past mistakes.[1].
Draloef holds respect for Nuri and thinks Hespero the Harmonious's intentions are good despite his being a fop. Draloef holds disgust for Derek Ravenclaw's use of enchantment magic to manipulate others and circumvent honest battle. He wishes the burglar known as Gem to be banished from the party[1].
