Nyrond is a kingdom on Oerth. After Firan Zal'honan's forces from Knurl invaded Innspa, the Nyrondese were in an uproar. They sent mercenaries in retribution. The mercenaries ultimately upset Firan out of his castle. Fleeing into the Mists, Firan was taken away to the Demiplane of Dread[1]
