The Empyrean Inquisition is the martial arm of the Empyrean Church that controls Malosia. Led by First Confessor Oste van Brekke, the Inquisition is headquartered at the Citadel of Truth in Caercaelum. The common Inquisition soldiers, the Redbreasts, seem to act as as law enforcement officers, at least in matters related to witchcraft and heresy. The Redbreasts maintain a number of prisons such as Perdition Hill. The Redbreats are known as zealous, roving witch hunters whom tend to arrest even the innocent without question.[1]
