Philip Fassbinder[1] was a teenage member of the Fassbinder family. Like the other Fassbinders, he was murdered in a plot enacted by the Blutkalte family and orchestrated by Tobias Blutkalte, whereupon the Fassbinders were isolated from the outside and poisoned under the guise of helping them recover from a disease. The enfeebled Fassbinders were all killed in their beds.
Philip met a gruesome end thanks to a poisoned knife wielded by his former friend and fellow social outcast, Sebastian Blutkalte. Sebastian's betrayal of his friend did not come without cajoling from his fellow Blutkaltes, and it did not come without consequence. The traumatic experience caused Sebastian's nature as a dread doppelganger to manifest for the first time, and Sebastian subsequently slew two of his relatives before meeting his end at Maximilian Blutkalte's shovel. Sebastian quickly rose as a ghost and drained the life from Max, then went on to become a serial killer as his psyche broke apart.
Unlike the otherwise antagonistic relationship between the Fassbinders and the Blutkaltes, Philip and Sebastian were close friends, even each other's only friends. The relationship was not entirely beneficial for Philip, as Sebastian employed his mind reading abilities to move Philip towards delinquency.
