Jeremiah Lockwood

Jeremiah Lockwood was at one time the patriarch of Lockwood Manor and the Lockwood Family. He is the father of Victoria Lockwood and Angelique Lockwood. He was betrayed by Angelique and her husband Benjamin Lockwood when they began assuming total control of his estate and imprisoned Jeremiah in his own home. After Victoria tried to bring the matter to the courts, Angelique bribed the magistrate to throw out the case and have Jeremiah declared mad. Upon Angelique's orders, Victoria was kidnapped, but the servant killed her too early. Jeremiah saw this and died of a heart attack, but not before cursing Angelique with "eternal damnation"" for her betrayal. His curse would make Angelique rise as a ghost after she was murdered by Benjamin.
