Benjamin Lockwood

Benjamin Lockwood is the husband of Angelique Lockwood and the son of Baron Earonshire. He conspired with Angelique to take over her father Jeremiah Lockwood's estate and imprison him in their own home. On a visit to Baron Earonshire's estate, Angelique ordered Benjamin to kill his father so they could assume power over his holdings. When Benjamin refused, Angelique ordered one of her adulterous lovers to force Benjamin to gouge his own eyes out. And then Angelique bullied Benjamin into claiming he did it as an accident. From then on, Angelique led Benjamin around by a leash made of rope. Benjamin fell into a deep depression and withdrew from society.

Later, when Angelique was distracted by the deaths of her sister Victoria Lockwood and her father Jeremiah Lockwood, Benjamin used the opportunity to ironically strangle her with the leash she had used to keep him near. Once she was dead, he jumped to his death from the tower of Lockwood Manor.
