Fearweed is a species of Dread Plant that feeds on carrion. Unlike many dread plants, the fearweed has no ability in and of itself to directly harm nearby creaatures. Instead, it releases a poisonous gas that is undetectable by vision or smell. Those whom succumb to the gas' effects have their perceptions warped to induce malicious hallucinations of nearby creatures, possibly driving them to kill each other.[1]
The fearweed can be encountered in the following domains: Avonleigh[2], Darkon[3], Forlorn[4], the Shadow Rift[5], Tepest[6], Valachan[7], and Verbrek[8] In Dominia, fearweed may found on the grounds of the Clinic for the Mentally Distressed.[9]

“Fearweed", runco vereor, is something of a misnomer. Unfortunately, madness weed, Runco rabies, is little better. In any case, the candles were the success that I had expected. For obvious reasons living bees would not readily do the work thus a hive was slain and infused with my potency. Its members gathered the pollen, embedding it in their wax. The wax was cast into shape, the steak knives were honed to a razor’s edge, and thus I was well armed to meet over dinner the arguments of La Société de la raison éclairée.”
