A path of corruption is a six step process of damnation from a state untainted by the attention of the Dark Powers to their full embrace as a darklord. With each failed powers check, a corrupted character gains a gift, but a matching, and perhaps even more potent, curse. The transgressors gifts and curses fit the nature of their transgressions and their depravity.[1]
