A cadaver is equally a humanoid corpse and a dead humanoid body. But it is one from which the life has fled in the not distant past, which is to stipulate that it is more than a skeleton. Cadavers are much sought after by Departments of Medicine, medical researchers like chiurgeons, necromancers, and flesh golemcrafters, as well as by ghouls. A cadaver may walk again by being granted undeath. Generally, the flesh of a cadaver granted undeath as a zombie or other walking undead ceases to disintegrate, such that the creature does not, in the end, resemble a skeleton.
