An ancient headhunter-priest emerges from his pinewood coffin. The only mummy culture in the Philippines lies in the Cordillera Mountains of north Luzon, around the city of Baguio. Widely known in the scientific community as "fire mummies," many of the discoveries in this area stretch back almost a thousand years. - Dion Fernandez |
