Thordin (Outlander)

A minor character in Death of a Darklord, Thordin was an outlander[1] and a member of the Brotherhood of Broken Blades partnered with Blaine Clairn.[2]
Background
He first arrived in the Land of Mists with a cleric named Kilsendra. Kilsendra found she was cut off from her deity and could no longer heal.[3]
Thordin and Blaine were both involved in laying the Phantom Beast of Chebney to rest by getting the meistersinger of Chebney to admit to poisoning his rival.[4] Thordin and Blaine escorted Pegin Tallyrand from Cortton to the Ambrose Compound, but Pegin was killed by a tree animated by necromancy.[5]
Although Thordin joined the Brotherhood of Broken Blades, he displayed greater loyalty to the people he cared for than any mission. At one point, he claimed he was willing to leave the Brotherhood and join the household of Wizard Gersalius, if Elaine Clairn were to leave to pursue her studies and Blaine joined her.
Thordin helped stop the Zombie Plague of Cortton.[6] Although he survived, Blaine was killed by zombies while trying to make sure Elain got away safely.[7].
