Sari Florica
Now a ghost, Sari Florica was a resident of Orașnou engaged to marry Benedek Durril. Due to a long and strange series of events, their love was destined to become a star-crossed one. These circumstances would lead to Benedek's death[1] and Sari becoming a ghost[2] before vanishing into the Mists.[3]
History
Sari wore an an old pair of gloves, which, unknown to her, formerly belonged to Tatyana Federovna. This brought her to the attention of a ghost named Graxxygak, whom sought the gloves for his master Esmae Amarantha. Yet Graxxygak did not seize the gloves, for he could not find a good moment without drawing attention.[4]
For their wedding ceremony, Sari and Florica sought the advice and blessings of a mysterious figure named the Visitor. The Visitor had just arrived in town but nonetheless had befriended everyone. Instead of providing what the lovers sought, the Visitor led them into a trap- whereupon Benedek's brother, Regold Durril, murdered them[1] out of envy and a feeling they didn't belong together.[5]
Regold had been manipulated and charmed by the Visitor into doing the deed, for it all was part of the Visitor's elaborate scheme. He sought the sacrifice of Benedek and Sari's lives to the Dark Powers as a way to gain control over a ghost named . The plot failed, the Dark Powers seemingly wanting a willing sacrifice- that is, a suicide. Luckily, the Visitor had a guilt-ridden Regold to call upon.[1]
Sari rose again after her death, although unfortunately for her Benedek remained deceased. Though confused over what happened[2], Sari nonetheless led some adventurers to the Vault of the Royal Dead, a set of old ruins where the Visitor was conducting a sacrifice ritual. Although Regold slit his own throat, he may have been rescued and the ritual failed.[6] Regardless of what happened, Graxxygak nonetheless abducted Sari before disappearing with her[3], ultimately delivering Tatyana's gloves to Esmae.[7] What ultimately happened to Sari remains unknown.[3]
