The Blutbadholz is the westernmost forest of the Hohlhandländer region of Graben Island. In addition to the valueable pines and larches which provide wood for the island's inhabitants, the Blutbadholz is noteworthy because it contains evidence of earlier settlements, occupied prior to Efraim Graben's arrival in 580 BC.[1]
