Domestic reindeer are brought to Graben Island from Todstein.[2]- Duke Gundar tries to force the bards of the [[Morts-Qui-Dancent to serve as his spies. When they refuse, Duke Gundar calls on his son Medraut Gundar to torture them and curse them with a unique form of cursed undeath. The bards are required to regularly entertain others or face loss of the energy that animates them.[3]
