Ustalav is a domain taken (or copied) from the word of Golarion. It is described as a adaption to Ravenloft in Ustalav Gazetteer in QtR22. A more thorough description is given in the Pathfinder Campaign Setting sourcebook Rule of Fear.

- 460 BC A curse transforms Castle Maiserene (from the county of Varno) into Bastardhall.[5]
- 469 BC Approximate year for the founding of the University of Lepidstadt.[6]
- 560 BC Last known sighting of the Black Coach.[6]
- 601 BC Ustalav forms as a domain within the Land of Mists.[6]

- 749 BC Ustalav is inundated with refugees fleeing Darkon in the wake of the Requiem. Many Darkonian scholars wind up in Lepidstadt. the University of Lepidstadt become a central hub in the Core for knowledge and education.[12]
