More information on Souragne?

Post by Razan de Ullapool »

I'm looking for more information I can read on Souragne. The FoS DM section shows that it isn't in any of the Gazetteers but is there more information in some of the netbooks that I should look into?

I just want to learn more about the towns, the people, the dreadlord. There is so dreadfully little in the RLPHB and RLDMG (like a paragraph or two each!) and it's a bit hard to spice things up with that limited canonical information.

Thanks!

There's little official information other than the novel, Dance of the Dead and the core setting books.

However, the Fraternity did their own Gaz of Souragne:

It and the Web Enhancement can also be found in the Library, here:

Certain monsters from The Lonesome Road's Dark Denizens are also good additions: devilwhip, all lycanthropes (except baboon and cheetah), nightcrawler, uncle skeleton, and weeping willow make for appropriate thematic encounters.

Don't forget the adventure, Night of the Walking Dead, and the chapter of Dark Tales & Disturbing Legends that covers rules for Voodans and a Voodan-related story.

EDIT: oh yeah, and Sandovor, the were-croc from CotN: Werebeasts, which I remembered on my own, as well as Chicken Bone from RLMCII:CotN, and Myxitizajal, from CotN:Vampires, both of which I had to be reminded of by searching the kargatane catalogue for Souragne

Oh cool. May I suggest then that this: http://www.fraternityofshadows.com/TheVault/Domain_of_the_Month/Souragne.htm be changed to include a link to that? I went there first to see what other sources of information there were.
