Ok, so, to back up and review, a bit: (pardon if any of this is stuff you'd already figured out, Rafael) Cortez (that's me) has four ships that cruised into Saragoss in a sort of diamond formation; the
Pirate's Bane, the ship he's captain of, was in front, and that's the one most of the PCs spend most of their time on. Out to the sides were the
Demon Cutter on the right (starboard), which is the ship that Cortez's cohort, Shadross, is captain of, and the
Brinewine Runner on the left side (port), which is the ship that's currently about to get rammed by this mysterious ghost ship. In back, there's the fourth ship, the
Smiling Serpent, which is the only one that isn't completely stuck in the muck and could still actually sail around. We're a little concerned that a ghost we met earlier might come back later and try to hijack the Serpent, but that's a whole 'nother story.
A little ways away from the
Pirate's Bane, there's a lifeboat where we're keeping Draga, because part of what's keeping Draga Salt-Biter all messed up is the fact that he's got an extremely contagious disease, so we needed a place to keep him.
All the way on the other side of Saragoss, Peregrine's got a ship with its own problems going on. And off in the Sea of Sorrows, Tessius just took out Bluebeard and now Balin's gone and killed Pieter van Riese. All the Saragoss stuff takes place in the Umberlee's Belly thread, and all the Sea of Sorrows stuff happens in the "On the Sea of Sorrows" thread.
At the moment, here's where everyone in Saragoss is, as far as I know: Invictus (Tessius's shadow companion), Ciera, and her familiar Nephys are all out at the lifeboat, keeping an eye on Draga. Cortez was out on the lifeboat watching Draga, but now he's headed over to the Runner, the ship that's about to get rammed; Shadross is swimming out to the ghost ship. Kinketsu (that's Ciera's monk cohort) was down below decks on the Pirate's Bane, and is probably going to run upstairs and try to help with the ghost ship. You (Anders) and Sariel (Sariel is Balin's dragon cohort; see what happens when almost every PC takes leadership?

) were on the
Pirate's Bane, looking through a bunch of books you stole from a local vampire, but when you guys heard that the ghost ship was coming, Sariel flew over to set it on fire and generally smash it up, dragon-style. Now, like DeepShadow said,
DeepShadow wrote:Anders might also be able to fly out in the ether like Kinketsu, but this would be his last Shed Body for the day. OTOH, if there's another way to get him out there, maybe he can help with incorporeal touch alone. Maybe he and Kinketsu could ride the carpet of flying?
Finally, I'm sure it would occur to your PC's that this is a good way to lure big hitters out onto the waves, either for a serious trap or just to keep them busy while another attack comes from elsewhere. Anders and Kinketsu would be the major hitters against Harrin, and fighting this ship could deplete their powers to fight him. OTOH, not hitting this ship with everything might mean letting it hit the Runner broadside.
So, all perfectly simple, right?

That's mostly everything, I think, but if you have more questions feel free to ask!
Oh yeah, also, if you haven't read
The Story So Far, that might help a bit, especially the list of characters, so you can keep all the names straight!
