I don't think there are any pictures of Anders, but here's the
post Nightblade made to describe him:
...The voice that floated down to answer Ciera's musings is soon followed by a man slight of build and of rather medium stature.
He is dressed in the Eastern style, though adapted to his tastes. Loose-flowing pantaloons that come down to the ankle to glide over feet encased in boots that look like the lightest and supplest leather crafted and a tunic, though not as heavy a design as its Western, cold clime original, make the basic ensemble. This is covered by what is in the sleeveless style of a vest, but continues down his person, stopping at the ankles as well. Left open it sways in the effect of a cape or cloak; closed it gives the appearance of elaborate robes. Though it is of a midnight blue hue, with lighter blue tracings sown in this adapted cloak can be sworn to shimmer slightly. The boots and tunic are of an imperceptibly lighter shade from the adapted cloak and the pants even out the color with a matte black. Cinching the tunic to his waist is a plain rope belt of which are attached many pouches and other small carrying items. The man wears gloves, black, also of supple leather, to match his pants. At his head, negotiating through black and grey hair that isn't pulled back into a ponytail, is a small headband of pure crystal; at his neck, on a silver chain, hangs another crystal shaped almost like the circular lens of a magnyfying glass though naturally more ornate and earthlike due to its crystal status.
His frosty blue eyes take in everyone seated in the mess hall and he nods to Captain Lind, his cleanshaven face businesslike, neutral.
There was also a casting-call thread where we discussed what actor ought to play the various characters. Joaquin Phoenix was a popular choice for Anders, though Keanu Reeves was also mentioned, and DarkPowers suggested:
Anyway, 'bout time we looked closer at Anders:
Before upgrade: Keenan Wayans.
After upgrade: Wesley Snipes.
Which always amused me with the mental image of Keenan Wayans suddenly turning into Wesley Snipes in the middle of a battle with a vampire.
