A powerful illusionist and the creator of the Memory Mirrors[1], Tindafulus is currently trapped in the mirror world as a Ravenloft Fetch, though he was once human. Thanks to a disastrous experiment, he swapped places with his mirror self of Tindal, whom now roams free as the barker of Carnival while Tindalalfulus is trapped in the world of mirrors. Ironically, Tindal is a man of character and charm his "real" counterpart could never match.[2]

History

Tindafalus was an illusionist wandering Sithicus for a time. He was eventually caught by Soth and put him to work on the Memory Mirrors such that Soth might forget his weary existence[1]. At some time during his stay in Sithicus, Tindafalus became a colleague of Sarlandril, an elf wizard of evil alignment. Sarlandril transformed his pseudo-familiar Silessa into an elf maiden and began to abuse her. Tindalfalus did nothing to intervene.[3]

Eventually Tindafulus completed the Memory Mirrors, and Soth ordered Azrael to destroy Tindalfulus. The illlusionist pretended to die in order to coverup up his escape. Now liberated from enslavement, Tindafulus turned to creating an illusion such that he could extract a more physically perfect and handsome self to replace his aging features. After spending months trying to refine his techniques, Tindafulus' experiments ended in disaster as he swapped places with his more ideal mirror self, Tindal.[4]

the years of his entrapment have left Tindalfulus an even more bitter and resentful man from before. For all intents and purposes, Tindalfulus has become a Ravenloft fetch. He has been recruited by Professor Pacali serve as a spy for the evil professor's conspiracy to destroy Isolde. Tinafulus believes this is a necessary action because Tindal relies upon Isolde for protection.[5]
