The Jacob Garvin Scarecrow (Monster)

The Jacob Garvin Scarecrow is a dread straw golem created by the farmer Jacob Garvin. Its mentality was shaped by his rampant xenophobia. Initially created as a deterrence to trespassers, the scarecrow began killing those who trespassed on Jacob Garvin's lands and eventually destroyed all of the Garvin Family aside from Betty Garvin, who escaped. The creature sometimes wanders, but usually sticks close to the Garvin Farm near Valden.

The Jacob Garvin Scarecrow has the powers to inflict despair upon its foes around it and to control ravens.
