Midnight was Ferran Shadowborn's warhorse. Ferran rode Midnight on the mission to destroy Ebonbane.
Ember, along with Ferran Shadowborn, Ember, and Midnight, were the only creatures of Alexi Shadowborn's party to survive the attack on Ebonbane in Shadowborn Manor and walk away from it.[1]
However, given how long ago the events of that novel occurred in Ravenloft's history, Midnight is most likely deceased.
