Corsalus[1] is a minor character from King of the Dead. He was a Nyrondese boy who nonetheless lived in Knurl during the time of Firan Zal'honan's youth. Like his friend and sometimes rival Firan, Corsalus was an aspiring wizard and summoner. Corsalus had attempted to become an apprentice to Quantarius but was rejected.

Firan felt disgust towards Corsalus as he felt Corsalus was was a dim-witted miser for not sharing spellbooks that could be used by better hands. Nonetheless, they collaborated in summoning a fiendish spirit from beyond. The summoning was botched and the spirit possessed Firan's brother Irik and began transforming him into something horrible. Firan wanted to enlist the help of Quantarius, but Corsalus refused for the possible loss of face. Firan threw a geas upon Corsalus and demanded that they go to Quantarius' estate. After they enlisted Qunatarius' help and Corsalus' geas was broken, Corsalus ran off into the night.
