A kelp angler is an intelligent and dangerous aquatic plant that lies in wait for potential prey to pass by before using its confusion spell-like ability and then lashing out with its tentacles. A kelp angler appears as a Large jellyfish-shaped clump of kelp, camouflaged to blend in with the local terrain. If damaged in combat, a kelp angler can regenerate wounds, though not when acid is used against it.[1]

Kelp Anglers can be found in theNocturnal Sea[2], the Drowning Deep[3], the Sea of Sorrows and the coastlines of many domains.[4] However, kelp anglers flourish the best in Saragoss.[4]
