A Ghost Pegasus^[1] was a Pegasus who served as the mount of a morally upstanding person in life until the steed betrayed its master. Now in life, it is a ghost driven by the need to redeem itself through service to a Good aligned master. the Ghost Pegasus is irresolute and temperamental, however, and is likely to abandon its would-be master in times of need. The Ghost Pegasus always make its master pass a series of tests before submitting.

Although a Ghost Pegasus appears almost translucent, it must will itself to go through objects, and it is able function as a normal mount. As such, this may fit the mutable category of ghosts Van Richten wrote about in Van Richten's Guide to Ghosts. Note that the Ghost Pegasus was never updated to 3.x Edition, so the creature types assigned below are speculative.
