The Blood War is war between demons and devils that has existed in the Lower Planes from time immemorial. The Land of Mists has precious light connection to the war, but does afford a deserter a nigh perfect place to hide. And at least one enemy enemy was removed from the field of combat by trapping her in the Land of Mists.
