Anna Veneer

Anna Veneer is the daughter of the nobleman Paul Veneer. For most of his life, Paul was an irresolute drunkard, gambler, and adulterer. He had promised to take Anna Veneer horseback riding, but his promise lapsed as his debauchery began to seep into his fatherly duties. With some collusion from Louisa the maid, Anna got into the saddle and went horseback riding by herself. The horse later became spooked and threw Anna off a cliff.

Paul would later become obsessed with recreating his lost daughter in the form of a dread golem.
