A Falkovnian mystic and alienist with the Ministry of the Arcane, whose experiments caused planar breaches to the Far Realm[1]. The energy unleashed upon the land had a casualty rate in the hundreds and mutated hundreds more. Chernov is now a chaos beast, the demilord of the contaminated area, and his domain is slowly growing. Inspiration for Chernov and his domain comes from a combination of Chernobyl, the Annihilation film and Lovecraft's The Color Out of Space.[2]
