Alina Vaduva was a trapper and furrier[1] that lived with her husband, Laszlo Vaduva, at the Vaduva Trading Post near Orașnou[2]. Due to a curse put upon her bloodline, Alina was born afflicted with lycanthropy. In a dispute over their soon-to-be born child being a werewolf, Laszlo struck her, and her anger triggered a transformation to beast form and tore him apart. Alina left her newborn child in Orașnou and then fled into the wilderness, never to return.[1] However, she left behind a trail of evidence that brought adventurers to confront her.[3]
