- March: Fian, Maeve's Kartakan husband, comes to murder her in Linde. Instead, she lures him into a trap set by the Three Hags, where he meets his end. Leith witnesses Maeve's allegiance to the Hags and abandons her, leaving to join the Guardians once again.</ref>
- Tara Kolyana is born. Not too long thereafter, her parents flee Barovia to go to Hazlan.[2]
