Vladislav the Trapper

Vladislav the Trapper is a character from the module Dark of the Moon. He is a resident of the village of Vorostokov. He is a brother of Olaf, and member of the Boyarsky.

Biography

Vladislav was once a rebel against Gregor Zolnik with Yuri Tupolek, the latter of whom he was quite close to. In their final confrontation, Gregor killed Yuri as well as two of Vladislav's old brothers. However, Vladislav was spared and inducted into the Boyarsky. As part of that induction, Vladislav was transformed into a werewolf. Vladislav despises both himself and Gregor for his corruption into a lycanthrope and Gregor's minion. However, Vladislav fears that Gregor will murder Olaf if he should disobey. For his part, Olaf does not grasp Vladislav's full predicament and is puzzled why his brother obeys the tyrant.

In Dark of the Moon

Although Vladislav's heart has been darkened, he is not completely corrupted. If the player characters encounter him and have Olaf or Mikhail Zolnik in the party, he may join them in their fight against Gregor. While serving in the Boyar's Hall, he resides in Area 14, where he is is referred to as "Vladimir".
