Tomb of Hotep

The Tome of Hotep is a very considerable piece of architecture in a valley neighbouring that of Anhktepot's Tomb. The tomb honours both Sobek, the evil, crocodile-headed god of water, and his high priest Hotep. The runaway slave Khasek found a secret entrance into the structure and was so inspired by what he saw within as to attempt to revive the worship of the forgotten god. Leading a group of six cultists, victims were seized from Muhar and sacrificed within the tomb to the ancient god. The spilled blood eventually roused Hotep from the perpetual slumber into which Anhktepot had forced her. At this point, however, Dr. Rudolph van Richten and a group of fellow adventurers intervened to set matters aright.
