Khasek

Khasek was a thief by profession. He was also a runaway slave from Muhar. He discovered a secret entrance into the Tomb of Hotep and was so impressed by what he saw that he attempted to revive the worship of the ancient god Sobek, beseeching his direct intervention in the form of rain to restore fertility to the land. Khasek led a group of six cultists in the seizing of victims from Muhar and their sacrifice to the god. The spilled blood did not bring rain[1], but it did stir to consciousness Hotep, the mummified high priestess of Sokeb, whom Anhktepot had forced into perpetual slumber. Dr. Rudolph van Richten and a group of fellow adventurers intervened to set matters aright.[2]
