Mentioned by Ratik Ubel in Van Richten's Guide to the Walking Dead, the Spindle of Ravenloft was one of the Restless Dead and a serial killer that murdered his victims by stiching them into tapestries.[1]
Ubel mentioned the Spindle was almost impossible to track, and it seemed to remain a distance apart from Ubel, despite the efforts he took to close in.[2] 
These are likely evidence of the Trackless Step and Bending the Land abilities.
Jacqueline Renier called upon Ubel to hunt down the Spindle to pay back a favor he owed her.[3]
