The Singing Tree

The Singing Tree is an ancient and gigantic but hollow oak tree in the forests west of Skald. It is the gathering spot for Singing Tree Day. The Singing Tree is purportedly a spirit of nature, said to inspire the winner of the singing contest with portents of the future when said winner improvises a mora on the spot. Correct interpretation of this improvised mora is said to bring insight into weather and the fortune of the crops in the following year.
