Sean is a half-blooded member of the Vistani, a giomorgo. Despite being a giomorgo, he was able to stay in Sergio's tribe due to his love with Magda. With her Sean sired Marielle. Following Magda's death, Sean was exiled from the tribe, leaving Marielle without direct blood relatives in the tribe.
