Marit is an NPC from the module Vecna Reborn. In the module, she is chosen by the Church of Vecna to give birth to Vecna in Tovag.

Marit is a resident of Tor Gorak.

Background

Three months prior to the events of Vecna Reborn, Marit's husband died, leaving her in a state of amnesia and incapacitation caused by her profound grief. She was first taken to the Madhouse of Tor Gorak by her family, but her uncle Vocar the Obedient took her into his own home. Vocar's motives were entirely sinister, for he had chosen the pregnant Marit to bear the reborn incarnation of his lord and master.
