Maconda is the name of the 200 mile stretch of mainland that is part of the Nueva Aragona cluster. It was once part of the royal empire of Aragona. However, rebels led by General Martin José Maconda managed to eject or kill most of the royalist influence from the country and established (in-name, at least) a republic. Despite Nueva Aragona officially having a republic government, the rebel turned dictator General Martin has worked to put the entire nation under his thumb. [5]
In addition to being the temporal ruler of Maconda, General Martin is also its darklord.[4]
