Leona Angoriath is a Valachani paka assassin who is under orders from Baron Urik von Kharkov to bring her sister Theodora Angoriath back to him and to dispatch her familial clan.
Theodora had been chosen by Baron Urik von Kharkov to be one of his brides, who are infamously known for disappearing under suspicious circumstances. When she tried to escape, Leona betrayed her and handed her over to the baron. Following her capture, Theodora was executed. However, her corpse was retrieved by Lucius, one of Kharkov's guards now turned renegade, and he paid a cleric to resurrect Theodora. Repentant for her past crimes, she and Lucius fled Valachan.[1]
When Von Kharkov realized their escape, he threatened to make Leona his new bride and claim all of her wealth as his own, unless she were to capture Theodora and eliminate Lucius. The vengeful Leona complied, managing to assassinate Lucius. However, she has yet to capture Theodora. However, because of her partial failure, Lady Adeline scarred Leona both physically and mentally.[2]
