A Ghost who was groundskeeper at Richten Haus in life. He had a hatred for Josef Bierce and an obsessive desire for his daughter Elise Bierce that ultimately resulted in the both of their murders. For unknown reasons, he poisoned Thane, the beloved dog of Casimir. His abandoning of Gretta Bierce ultimately resulted in her death as well. He ultimately took his own life.[1]
Karl's spirit now haunts the domain of Richten Haus as one of the its "Daylight Ghosts".[2]
