Josiah Graben is, in the public eye, the appointed emissary for Colin Graben. In reality, "Josiah" is merely Colin's assumed alias and disguise, assumed in 751 BC so that he might keep a better eye on the people of Graben Island, and particularly on Graben-town.[1]
