John was a paladin who blamed Azalin Rex for the rampage of the Creature through Mordent. Marcus La Morte joined the cause of his army. However, as they drew close to Darkon, John was killed fighting a monster unrelated to their quest. Stripped of a leader, Marcus and the others quickly fell to Azalin's undead minions.[1]
Recent rumors have said that John may have risen from the grave as one of the undead.[2]
