Jacks and Queens

Jacks and Queens was an inn operated by the would-be reformed bandit Jack Sallow upon the cursed grounds of Ashington Manor. Under his ownership, the manor seemed to overcome its reputation as a place of damnation- although the inn he ran was known to be a place of vice. However, Sallow's redemption didn't take, as he conducted the secret murder and robbing of guests he believe he could get away with, including the runaway daughter of a rich merchant. The day after he deflected the suspicions of the girl's boyfriend, Sallow fell victim to the cyclical Ashington Curse. Maekon used her venom to drive Sallow and the others into homicidal furies and go after each other.
