Irena Vishnayev

Irena Vishnayev was a villager who lived in the Russian town of Vyshni. She was to marry Anatoly Nashinkov, but Danylo Denisovich Známia jealously loved her. She did not return his affections, and eventually married Anatoly. On their way from Vyshni to Saint Petersburg, the married couple stopped at Vóron Cherdák Inn, where they were killed by the snow wraith of Danylo.
