Anatoly Nashinkov

Anatoly Nashinkov was a Russian soldier who lived in the Russian town of Vyshni. He was to marry Irena Vishnayev, but Danylo Denisovich Známia jealously loved her. Irena did not return Danylo's affections, and she eventually married Anatoly. On their way from Vyshni to Saint Petersburg, the married couple stopped at Vóron Cherdák Inn, where they were killed by the snow wraith of Danylo.
