The hydra that had attacked the hamlet of Tranquility had been forced out of a nearby fen by unknown circumstances. A hero known simply as the Horseman slew it with the help of his entourage of men. Now it lurks as an undead wretch in a the Hydra's Fen somewhere along the Endless Road.[1]
