Guiding Lights

The Guiding Lights are a True Neutral, Creator aspect sect of the Taiian religion in Conquista. The sect came to prominence around 742 BC in the domain's middle cantón. As local clergy of Taiia had fought side-by-side with Voodan and Witches against Vieuxlyese invaders, they came to believe dealing with such groups with battleaxe, trident and fire was inappropriate to say the least, and that Taiia's true will may surpass the text of her holy book, Following the Light. (Strictly speaking, this makes them heretics.) As a result, the Guiding Lights are a rare sect that engages other religions through dialogue and diplomacy, rather than violence. Although their end goal is always to convert people, they are well-regarded by other religions and noted scholars of arcane and religious lore.
