Gaston is a resident of Dementlieu who was a friend of "S" during their youth. He is at least somewhat skilled in herbalism, at least to the degree that he informed her of dapplewort.^[1] He is also a member of La Société de Legerdemain and therefore an arcane spellcaster^[2] Considering he studied with "S" at the same school^[3] he is most likely a wizard.
