First mentioned in the article "Little Horrors"[1], Funis Magicus is a Loa or Spirit worshiped by the Chi-Folken of Madego.

In the mythology of the Chi-Folken, Funis Magicus is the spirit of magic itself. It takes no sides with regards to good or evil, chaos or law, but it is noted to favour the Dwimmerlaerer over all other spellcasters.

Appearance

When depicted or manifested, Funis Magicus appears as a golden-scaled serpent in constant motion. As it coils through the branches of Grossvaterbaum, it listens to the whispers of the wind and rains down inspiration and half-formed spells on mortals as though they were shed scales.

Relationships

As stated above, Funis Magicus dwells among the branches of Grossvaterbaum. It shares its home with Philosophus Lugens, but nothing has been said of their relationship.
