The flameskull is an evil undead creature manifesting as a disembodied skull set ablaze with an unnatural fire. Despite having no hands, a flameskull can cast arcane spells. Even if slain, a flameskull will rise again from its remains unless doused in holy water or affected by a dispel magic or remove curse spell.[1] Several flameskulls were animated by Exethanter to guard the Amber Temple. He created them from the remains of deceased wizards.[2]
